How to Get Started
All right all you newbies, let's get you started!
1) First of all, if you haven't already, create an account by going up at the top of the screen under the site banner and selecting the "Register" option. Fill in the necessary information and become a member of this site. This will allow you to access EVERYTHING on here, so it's essential if you plan to create a character and RP with us.
*Note: I've seen through past roleplaying that some people sign up for an account, make a character, then are never seen again after that. This has happened with another site I'm part of and I don't intend for that to happen here. So, what I plan to do monthly is to have an Activity Check. To find out more information about it, click [here] to open up the Activity Check Info thread.
2) After reading the rules for this site (located [here]), go to the "Create-A-Profile" board in the "Characters" category from the main page. There, using the given codes in the Profile Codes/Formats thread, create a new thread. If you are creating a Tribe cat, in the "Subject" box, type in your character's FULL name first, then in parenthesis your cat's shortened name, shown as so with one of my own Tribe cats below. Any other characters, just put down the name.
*Note: If this is not followed, I will automatically edit your thread into the necessary format, mostly for organizational purposes.

*A Few Quick Notes*:
As noted in the rules, there is no limit on how many characters you can create and control, but make sure it's reasonable. You don't want to control all characters except for two in the entire RP and make it your own personal RP. That I WILL NOT allow. In the future, when this site becomes more active with members, I'll set a limit to how many you can create. But as of now, create as many that's reasonably fair. Thanks! 
Please try to have your first character(s) posted up and completed within the first week you sign up. This is just to be sure that you actually intend on RPing here instead of just making an account and high-tailing it out of range of the site. If this isn't done, eventually the Activity Check will roll around and your account shall receive no grace days (like the checks sometimes hold).
3) Once you have successfully made your character's profile, you must wait for a response from either myself or your Tribe's Healer in order to start roleplaying.
4) If your bio has been accepted and/or moved into the [Accepted Profiles] board, then you're all set; get to RPing! If not, then refit the character to the requests given. Profiles may be rejected if they are inappropriate (Ex: naming a cat Poop), impossible (Ex: a hundred-year-old cat), or anything else that goes against reality and/or the rules of this forum.
*A Few Other Quick Notes*:
We will be following the original rules and traditions that the Tribe of Rushing Water have from the original Warriors series up to the latest book, Eclipse. Some changes to what these Tribes do MAY and most likely WILL take place so that we are able to align them as close to the original as possible.
We will try to follow time the best we can manage. If we need to wait a month for something, then we'll usually wait a month. There's the possibility of skipping a couple days through time, but just give those requests to me and perhaps I'll give you permission to do so, depending on what the situation is so far in the storyplot.
The season in the RP will be the same one we ourselves are experiencing in the real life, here at our computers.
