ALL RULES LISTED HERE MUST BE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BASIC IDEA OF THEM. IF SOMEONE BREAKS ONE OF THESE RULES WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF DOING SO WILL RECEIVE NO GRACE OR MERCY. CONSEQUENCES WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACTION!
Now, a few points on the rules here:
These rules are up to a person's representation of what they can or can't do. [Consequences] will be taken immediately if any are broken.
New rules CAN and most likely WILL be added here at any given time by myself, so be sure to check often! They will be highlighted in blue until about a week or so.
With that, any new rules must be discussed either in the Help & FAQ board or by PMing me, which can then be added freely by me, ~Leaf~, the administrator of this site. I will highlight the new rules here so they're noticeable and announce it from the news board at the top of the main screen.
ALL the rules listed apply to each other equally; this means that even though they're separated in sections, that doesn't give one the right to do this with characters because it's only mentioned in the universal rules or something like that. Please don't be abusive, because I WILL catch you...

Universal Rules of the Forum:
Please know, first of all, that this forum is NOT safe!! Please do not give out your email address, your exact location (like cities or addresses), pictures of yourself, or even your real name ANYWHERE on the forum! I've seen what Internet stalkers can do just by getting a name and it's absolutely terrifying! I'm sorry to say, but if someone does this, I'll have to ban and delete them immediately, no warnings. No one should be this stupid to do such a thing...
No one, under any circumstances, can register under the age of 13! It is part of Proboard TOS and rules and if anyone from the main administration finds out, this site will be deleted without warning. It has happened before with past Warrior RPs and I would very much like that to not happen here! And I will find out if you're lying; it has been done before and I can do so if needed... If anyone has any problems or concerns with this rule, drop me a PM.
Do not ask to be any authorative character or staff member if there already is one or is not currently needed. It's really annoying when someone does that. If a position is needed, I will simply ask in some form of an announcement and hold auditions if necessary. But never will I just give away a position to someone who asks.
However, if you think that someone should be replaced, please PM me about that. I'd like everyone's opinion on that, so don't be afraid to talk to me.
No arguing with the administrator (that's me) or Healer of a Tribe, who have been made Moderators. You are expected to carry out their orders responsively and maturely. There are VERY FEW exceptions to this rule. If there are any problems with this, drop me a PM.
No excessive language. I'm very intolerant about this. I strongly believe that there are other words to use than profanity words that not only offend the person targeted, but everyone else as well. So being, there are absolutely no exceptions to this rule. We're here to respect each other and the usage of those kind of words just doesn't do the trick. My profanity filter covers the basics, but not every combination of it. Anyone fooling around with this and I WILL raise your warn level without hesitation.
No chatspeak outside of the General Chat board and Cbox. Most basic definition for this (and perhaps you'll recognize this): "r u there? is ne1 listning? u r? OMG lol i reeeeeeeally lyke your charrie cuz shes so keeeewl!!!!1!". These are very annoying and SHALL be considered spam.
No posting or linking to pr0n, hentai, warez, or anything illegal ANYWHERE on the forum. Not sure what these are? Here's the basic layout:
Pr0n - pornography
Hentai - anime pornography
Warez - illegal, or sometimes called "black-market", software
Anything illegal - just use common sense!
No spamming. This goes for EVERYWHERE inside the forum and everything else around it. It's really annoying and it gets in the way of other posts. Any breaking of this rule and I shall delete those spammed posts and give out the 25% warn.
*Note: Posts will be counted as spam if it is completely off-topic, repeated, and/or no greater than just a few words long. I MIGHT tolerate a few in the General Chat board, but if it becomes a problem and people start complaining about it, I will enforce the rule even in there.
USE PROPER "NETIQUETTE"! We're all people here looking for a good roleplaying game to play with each other, and we don't want to insult other people or place a personal attack on them! What's "netiquette", you ask? Well, the same as etiquette, but on "the net"! This means following the rules listed in the site linked below:

Basic Roleplaying Rules:
Keep all romance at a PG-13 level. No one (especially myself) wants to read any icky, intimate details.
When someone says they did something in their post, it's carried out, no exceptions. Here are a couple examples according to what the situation is:
Battles: Player One says: "Candy fled the battle because she suffered from too many injuries." Player Two can't say: "Hippo lept at Candy and pinned her to the ground".
Spying: Player One says: "Umbrella, hiding in a strong-scented bush that masked her scent, looked upon the cats in the clearing." Player Two can't say: "A large brown tom picked up a cat scent from the bushes and caught an intruder."
There IS a possibility of abusing this, and this is considered god-moding and some powerplaying. See further below in "Battle Rules" for explanations on that. Consequences will be handed out to anyone who does this.
Italicize or 'single-quote' all your thoughts. And for those familiar roleplayers out there who sometimes have forum that bold your speech, I'm not requiring that because personally, I think it looks kinda weird. You are still free to do it, but I won't have it required. Everyone else, for speech, just use "double quotes".
*Note: Basic rules of speech: every time a new character is talking (or if a point of view changes somehow), a NEW PARAGRAPH starts! It's very hard for SOME people (ahem...*points at self*) to read posts that don't follow this.
Please, please (I'm trying to beg here), PLEASE use proper punctuation and grammar in ALL posts, even in OOC from roleplaying! Yes, I'm one of those English freaks that just gets driven CRAZY when I see something not punctuated or spelled right. I can be flexible with some spelling, but please AT THE LEAST know how to complete your sentences and use the right verbs and such. If you wish to chatspeak and stuff, take it to the General Chat board located [here]. Thanks!

No consistent double-posting. The "Modify" button is there for a reason... I'm not too strict on this as of now, but if it becomes a problem in the future, then I'll enforce it.
Use common sense! If it seems like a bad idea, chances are, it probably is. We have a self-conscious mind for a reason, you know... Any confusion? Just simply ask before doing so!
For goodness' sake, have fun!  That's why you're here, isn't it?...
Character Rules:
You can't start roleplaying until your character's profile has been either accepted by me or your Tribe Healer AND/OR moved automatically into the Accepted Profiles board. Just to keep things in an orderly flow... If Healers wish to have an exception to their Tribe's profiles (like if you want it to be a certain format [still containing the things in the default format] or something like that), drop me a PM so I can list it here and then everyone knows.
Forewarning: please have your first character(s) created and completed by and within the first week of your sign-up! This is to make sure that you're not just creating an account and then ditching the site. If this is not eventually followed, the [Activity Check] will eventually roll around and your account shall receive no mercy...
You cannot exceed the limit of THREE authoritative characters in the Tribes. These authoritative characters are as such: leader of the cave-guards, leader of the prey-hunters, Healer, and Healer to-be. This rule expands within ALL Tribes, so you can't just say that you have two in one Tribe and then two more in another. Any bios that audition to be one of these when they already have three authoritative characters OR if it's already taken will be rejected immediately.
*Note: This may change in the future as the site becomes more active, so keep checking up for any updates!
More as a notification: you can have as many characters as you are able to RESPONSIBLY handle. As of now, there's no limit, but when more people join and characters start to get out of hand, then I'll put a limit here and notify the forum. Any other cat profiles made passed that point have to be limited then, which will be specified.
And as mentioned, these must be responsible choices; don't abandon one of your character's activity for another, handle them both once in a while!
Please ask before giving your cat a power. If you plan to have your cat have some certain power, ask me before doing so. We're just cats here, not superheroes, so we need to limit the cats with so-called "powers".
No Mary-Sue's or Marty-Stu's. What do I mean like this? Basically that your character (being it male or female, as specified by a Mary or a Marty) has perfect looks, they always save the day, they always know what to say, always know things pertaining to the situation (a.k.a. impossible knowledge), have impossible family lines and/or bloodlines, and usually end up falling in love with the author's favorite character and go to live happily ever after in some kind of fantasy world of fairies and elves where everyone is always happy and kind to one another. These are VERY annoying and I just won't allow them. Look at the link below to get a better idea of one:

Battle Rules:
Do not auto-hit any permanent, life-threatening, or otherwise major blows. No auto-killing, either. If you want a cat dead, ask permission. An example of the permanent major-blows would be like: "Balloon slashed open a cat's shoulder, dislocated his left hind leg, and then broke its collar bone." No, that's completely unacceptable...
No "repeat hitting" in the same post. For example: "Cheese slashed Ball, Ball shook him off. Cheese slashed him again, and again, and again..." Remember, this is only for a single post or posts by the same person in a row, so there's nothing wrong with multiple posting with another person. That would be the definition of "roleplaying"!
No battle godmoding. These are cats, not gods. Not even passed-away cats of the Tribe of Endless Hunting or the Tribe of Eternal Darkness can do this. Having a cat not die, be hurt, or anything that just makes them unstoppable is completely unacceptable. No mercy shall be given if this occurs.
Do NOT use/do any of the things listed below! And their definitions of what they mean are given next to them. Here they are:
Metagaming - using outside information in your post, a.k.a. "just knowing" stuff.
"Liquid Time" - being in more than one place, or thread, at once.
Powerplaying - controlling other people's characters and/or making up their history.
Breeding Rules:
Any plans of having kits have to come through an APPROVED RP'd relationship. Because of this, you cannot just make a kit character and say that your parents died forever ago. I've seen this through recent past and I think it's pretty annoying, personally. So any relationships have to be responsibly RP'd out.
It also must be approved. This means that if you want to have some kind of a cross-Tribe relationship, you will need my (and only mine) approval first. Also, you can't RP just one post of the relationship; I'll decide whether or not you have gotten to know your future partner enough to be able to have kits.
Any questions on this stuff? Don't be afraid to ask!
As mentioned before in the Roleplaying Rules, please keep all romance at a PG-13 level. I REALLY don't wanna read any "specific details" of "courtship" relationships... 
No forced relationships, please. Raping is not appropriate for this site, no matter how somewhat common it is. But if you would like to use this idea for some kind of sub-plot with the emotions of one of your characters, PM me about it first OR post it up in the [Plot Ideas ~ Not Yet Accepted] board so we can get a good idea of what you're trying to do.
The Healer of a Tribe will decide how many kits are born in a kit-mother's litter. I don't want this place overflowing with kittens, so the Healer/Moderator will help keep things under control.

There are no swear words, or otherwise offensive words in the name;
It's not overflowing with symbols;
It's not ridiculously long that it stretches.
Only ONE account per user, please. And I'll know if you do make more than one; IPs can be a powerful tool!...
Have any kind of avatar you want as long as it's not provocative, offensive, or anything else pertaining to that area. Be of good judgment of this as well.
ALSO, just as long as everyone knows, avatars are automatically formatted to 100 x 100 pixels, so don't pick anything too huge or too small. 
Please have signatures under 500 x 200 pixels. It'll be automatically formatted if not. This is so the large images don't stretch the page to enormous lengths that I just start getting a headache from it.
